Videogen

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 5, 2026

Videogen ("the app") is a private, single-operator automation tool operated by Sean Lindsay ("the operator"). These terms describe how the app operates. Because the app is not offered to the public, these terms primarily document its nature for the platforms it connects to.

Nature of the service

The app is used solely by the operator to produce videos and publish them to the operator's own YouTube and Instagram accounts, and to read basic statistics for those videos. There is no sign-up, no public access, and no service provided to third parties.

Acceptable use

The app is operated in compliance with the terms and policies of the platforms it connects to, including the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, and Meta's Platform Terms. Published content includes disclosure that it contains AI-generated or synthetic media where required.

Content ownership

All content produced and published by the app is created and owned by the operator. The app does not upload content on behalf of any other party.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. As a personal tool, it carries no guarantee of availability, performance, or fitness for any purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damages arising from the operation of the app.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the app changes. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
